Selling Your Land: The Process

We outline the steps and information you may want to know when considering selling your land to us.

Offer Received

Once you receive our offer, review all pertinent items such as price, dates, and property details.

 

If you are satisfied with our offer, feel free to email, mail, or submit the signed offer online by clicking on the 'Submit Offer' button.

Buyer Due Diligence

Upon receipt of the accepted offer, we will do our preliminary due diligence to make sure the property satisfies our acquisition criteria. Our due diligence may consist of an in-depth analysis of the property, consulting with the county, and more.

Escrow/Attorney

As soon as our due diligence is complete, we will proceed to connect with our escrow agent. Other times we may use our attorney.  Escrow is a legal third-party that holds funds before they are transferred from one party to another in a transaction.

Deed/Title Transfer

In conjunction to the escrow process, we engage our title company to prepare for the transfer of title and/or deed.

As necessary paperwork pertaining to the new ownership of the property is submitted to the county.

Completion/

Transfer of Ownership

Once the title and deed transfers are complete and all necessary paperwork for both sides of the transaction are complete, the property ownership is prepared to be transferred. Escrow releases the funds in trust to the property seller. The buyer takes ownership of the property.
